Trade servers are not currently running. When they are opened, they will have a different, slightly stricter set of rules than the others. This is only to protect people from scammers, and to offer a friendly place for all players to hang out, chat, trade, and play. These additional rules include the following:
No trade scamming. These should be easy enough to spot if both parties are only trading TF2 items. It is strongly discouraged to make trades outside of TF2, simply because such trades cannot be monitored for scams. Scammers are immediately reported to SteamRep with all available evidence (including server chat logs and screenshots). All confirmed scammers are also permanently banned from all NRTF servers regardless of SteamRep status.
All players who are marked as scammers in the SteamRep database are automatically banned from all No Rules servers permanently when they connect to one of our trade servers. This is handled by the SteamRep plugin.
No appeals will be accepted for SteamRep bans unless they have removed your scammer reputation mark.
If you submit an appeal for this type of ban, you must include the link to your SteamRep appeal to prove your case. Even if you do get unbanned from No Rules servers, if you are still marked by SteamRep, you will be re-banned from our community automatically by the SteamRep plugin upon joining our trade servers.
If you are Free-To-Play, don't mooch. Mooching is defined as begging, repeatedly asking, or harassing other players for free items. The only exception is if you are directing your requests to a friend, and they accept the trade. If other players find you annoying, however, you may be muted for up to 2 months.
